DIGNITY AT WORK FOR ADVISORS

What is the course about?
This course enables participants to provide informal advice to staff who may be experiencing harassment and/or bullying. It develops their skills and confidence to assist staff and to gain a thorough understanding of the organisation's relevant policies.

Course content includes:
  • Defining and recognising bullying and harassment
  • Organisation policy, the law and the business case  
  • Skills development including building rapport, empathetic listening and dealing with difficult questions
  • The role of the Advisor

Who is it for?
For organisations that have staff supporting those who may be experiencing bullying and harassment. This role is usually voluntary.   

Duration
Available as a two or three day course.
