What is the course about?
This is an introduction to equality and diversity and provides participants with the opportunity to discuss the issues of discrimination and oppression in some depth.

Course content includes: 
  • Key definitions
  • The law
  • The client's own equality & diversity policy
  • Use of language
  • Relevant case studies

Who is it for?
Suitable for all staff as an introduction to equality and diversity.  Often used for staff who are new to the organisation. 

Duration
Available as a half day or full day training course.  

Longer courses are available which explore myths, stereotypes and institutional discrimination in depth. Involves more detailed case study work, with actors.
